Phase 2 Limited Reopening of Schools

The Province of Manitoba has released its draft plan for phase 2 of Restoring Safe Services – Manitoba’s Pandemic Economic Roadmap for Recovery. School Playgrounds Reopening

In consultation with the Manitoba School Boards Association, Hanover School Division will be reopening play structures, swings, and nature playgrounds (effective Tuesday, May 19, 2020). However, basketball and volleyball courts will remain closed until further notice. Please be advised that our playground equipment has not been cleaned or sanitized, nor will sanitizer be provided. Hanover School Division is awaiting direction from public health officials regarding the safe use of our playgrounds. WiFi Extended to Bothwell and Kleefeld

Free WiFi service has been extended to the school communities of Bothwell and Kleefeld. WiFi on site is a pilot project intended to support Learning@Home. The two communities announced today are in addition to the service offered in Blumenort, Grunthal, Landmark, and Mitchell . WiFi Extended to Blumenort, Grunthal, and Mitchell

Hanover School Division has extended high-speed Internet service to three additional communities in Blumenort, Grunthal, and Mitchell. This will facilitate Learning@Home by providing school communities that have limited access to high-speed Internet service, with FREE high-speed filtered Internet via a designated access point on school property.
