Manitobans are strongly advised to cancel or postpone any non-essential international travel.

As per Manitoba Health, self-isolation is recommended for the following groups for 14 days after departing the area, or since their last known contact or exposure:

  • All international travelers returning to Canada (including the USA)
  • Contacts of a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19
  • Laboratory workers exposed during work

If symptoms develop during the 14-day self-isolation or self-monitoring period, contact Health Links – Info Santé at 1-888-315-9257 to determine if testing for COVID-19 should be considered. In cases where testing is not recommended, stay home (self-isolate) until well.

Information on self-monitoring, self-isolation, and what to do while waiting for COVID-19 test results can be found at https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/travellers.html

Please notify the school administration if your child is in isolation so that we can provide educational services as appropriate. We will do our best to keep you informed and updated regarding this rapid and evolving health crisis. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated.
